Hi, I'm Robert Duchnik — a fullstack web developer from Toronto, Canada, and the creator behind Websanova.
With over 15 years of professional experience building modern web applications, I've worked on various small to medium sized projects including many MVPs for newly founded startups. Recent work includes a 7-year engagement with Sage Audio, a radio analytics platform for Spintel, and an MVP for ThaiMatch that went from spec to live deployment in 8 weeks — more on the portfolio page.
As I developed these early-stage MVPs I quickly found it to be quite repetitive which ultimately led to the development of the Starter App & API featured in this website. The Starter has been continually refined over the years to not only keep it in line with the latest developments and best practices but to also make it increasingly more efficient for real world use.
Though I've worked with many frameworks and libraries over the years, I've come to settle with Vue and Laravel as my go-to, mainly for their simplicity, longevity, and great community support. Hence the Vue and Laravel Starter you see here.
